  • Who we are

    CSR Scaffolding Services Ltd ("we", "us") is a scaffolding company based in Barnsley. We are responsible for the personal information you give us. You can contact us about anything in this notice on 07488 294561 or at csrscaffolding@gmail.com.

  • What we collect

    When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect your name, phone number, email address, town or postcode, and the details you give us about your job. If you go ahead with a quote or a job, we also keep the address of the property, the quote and invoice details, and a record of payment.

  • Why we use it

    We use your details to reply to your enquiry, visit the site, prepare and send your quote, carry out the work, and invoice you. Our lawful basis is that this is needed to take steps at your request before entering a contract with you, and then to carry out that contract. We also keep invoice records because the law requires us to for tax purposes.

    We will not send you marketing and we never sell your information.

  • Who we share it with

    We only share your information with the services we use to run the business, and only as much as they need:

    • Web3Forms, which delivers website enquiries to our email inbox.
    • Our website and database providers, which securely store quotes, invoices and job records.
    • Our email provider, when we email you a quote or invoice.
    • Our accountant and HMRC, for invoice and tax records.

    Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser's IP address is shared with Google when you visit.

  • How long we keep it

    If your enquiry doesn't lead to a job, we delete your details within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep quote and invoice records for 6 years, as required for tax purposes, and then delete them.

  • Photos of our work

    We sometimes show photos of jobs on our website. We only name the town, never the full address, and we avoid showing people, house numbers or number plates. If you'd rather a photo of your property wasn't used, tell us and we'll remove it.

  • Your rights

    You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't have to keep it by law. Just call or email us using the details above.

    If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

  • Cookies

    Our public website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. The staff area uses essential storage to keep staff signed in, and nothing else.
